Gain new followers and make new friends with the Book Blogger Feature & Follow! If this is your first time here, welcome! You are about to make some new friends and gain new followers -- but you have to know -- the point of this hop is to follow other bloggers also. I follow you, you follow me, everyone wins.

The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee and Alison @Alison Can Read.

This Week's Question
If you had the money what would your own personal library look like? What would be in it? What colors, decorations, etc would you put in it? - Suggested by The Realm of Books

Answer

Something like this but with black cherry wood and different colored furniture to match my tastes. I love the idea of the double story, the bannister at the top where you can look down at everything. I like a more old fashioned approach than the modern makings.

What about you guys? What would your dream library be? Let me know below in the comments.

  1. Oh, I love your banner! :D My dream library would be like this! Except maybe with a sofa of my choice, and some more tables and chairs.

    1. Thank you! I was wondering to myself if I maybe made it too big or even if I should take it down but now I'll leave it so seriously thank you!
I actually really like that picture, everything would be easy to reach and it still has the more older fashion look I love. Great Choice :D I don't blame you for wanting to choose a different sofa though, I'd want to change it to one more my style as well.

  4. Wow, that looks heavenly! I would choose for something similar, but also for some wacky shaped bookcases around my home (like a big tree bookcase in my bedroom).

  7. I have no idea how I'd want my library to look, but you've got an awesome idea! I'd want mine to be really homey and open and friendly. I hate modern, cold libraries. It's just not fun or warm and inviting!!

    1. I used a free (because free is the best), internet website, lunapic.com. It's actually not too hard and that's coming from me and I seriously suck at editing photos. I also just got the pic from a google search. Hope that helps! :D
The one from Beauty and the Beast is massive! All the books you could fit there!
