50/50 Friday - Best/Worst Graphic Novel/Manga You've Read

50/50 Friday is a weekly meme hosted by me and Laura from Blue Eye Books.

Now what is 50/50 Friday?
Everyone has a favorite and then we also have something we dislike. Like a coin, there are two sides to every question. Example: best sequel you've read/worst sequel you've read. So that's what 50/50 Friday is all about. We will have a new topic every Friday (something bookish of course!). If you have have ideas for this meme don't be scared to let us know!

Topic for the Week
Best/Worst Graphic Novel/Manga You've Read

So since I read way too many manga and could never choose a favorite or one I dislike, I am going to go with graphic novels. This will be a lot easier for me.

Worst Read
So I LOVE the Blue Blood series to death. One of my all time favorites and so when I saw this, I had to have it. I read it... ugh, skip it and go for the book. So much better!

Best Read
This was a really hard one for me, I had quite a few that I could've put here but I knew that my partner would kill me if I didn't put this one.

Topic for Next Week
Favorite/Least Favorite Classic Novel

  2. I seriously need to read more graphic novels! I'm a big Marvel fan so I've been thinking of reading those first but we'll see how it goes :)

    1. Good luck! I’m always so nervous to read anything from Marvel or DC because I always feel I’d be so freaking lost. I on,y read The Killing Joke because my partner kept telling me how good it was.

  5. P. S. I recently discovered that Melissa de la Cruz is coming to my area to talk about her books and sign copies of her novels.

I've never read any of her novels before. You've mentioned how much you love her Blue Bloods series, so I plan to attend the event.

    1. Okay, I’m so freaking jealous! I wish she’d come to a palace near me! I also hope you choose to read some of her work soon.

    2. I am so curious about her books now and she writes different kinds... Yes, I plan to read some of her novels...

Question for you... Do you want me to see if she'll sign bookplates for you to place in side copies of the her novels you've already read?
