Apple Tea Recipe

I know this is something I have never posted before but I want to branch out a little and post other things that can relate to books and reading. So I hope you enjoy!

I have been trying for years to find a tea that I like... it's been a losing battle until now! I have actually found two that I am loving right now but I just wanted to share it with you guys! Because everyone knows that books go great with tea or coffee or cocoa... you get it.

So here we go!

Ingredients

8 ounces organic apple slices

2 sticks cinnamon (1 tablespoon of ground cinnamon if you don't have the sticks)

1 1/2 quarts cold water

Honey (to taste)

That's all you need for this easy recipe! Now how to prepare; add all the ingredients into a pot and bring to a boil and then simmer for 15-20 minutes. Strain and bam, some awesome apple tea. Now pour yourself a cup and grab that favorite blanket and snuggle in with a great book. You're now ready to enjoy whatever this world will throw at you!

  1. This sounds delicious! I've been trying to get into drinking tea more but I generally don't like the more traditional flavors (chamomile, etc) but this sounds like something I would like. Hopefully I'll get to try it out soon :) Thanks for sharing, Carrie!
